AGV Pista GP RR: A Lightweight and Aerodynamic Racing Helmet<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The AGV Pista GP RR is a racing helmet made for riders who want optimal protection, performance, and comfort. This helmet is made by AGV, an Italian premium brand known worldwide for high-quality helmets used by many MotoGP riders. The Pista GP RR is the successor to the AGV Pista GP R, featuring a new spoiler that improves aerodynamics and stability on the track.<\/p>\n

This helmet is ECE22.06-certified and FIM-certified, meaning it meets the highest safety standards for professional racing and street-use. The Pista GP RR offers a perfect balance between top-level protection, light weight, and ventilation, making the full-face helmet ideal for riders who demand the best performance on track days.<\/p>\n

Material<\/h3>\n

The AGV Pista GP RR Carbon is made from carbon fiber. A carbon shell gives great protection while keeping the weight low at only 1484 grams in size M. This low weight helps reduce neck fatigue, especially during long races or when riding at high speeds.<\/p>\n

AGV makes this carbon helmet in 4 shell sizes to make sure every rider gets the most compact and secure fit. The AGV Pista GP RR is available in sizes XS to XXL, offering a perfect fit for every rider.<\/p>\n

Comfort<\/h3>\n

AGV designed the Pista GP RR with maximum comfort in mind. The helmet features a Microsense inner liner, which feels soft and grippy even during long races. This inner liner also includes 2Dry technology that quickly absorbs sweat and keeps the rider dry during intense rides.<\/p>\n

The cheek pads and crown pad are removable and washable, so the helmet stays clean and fresh. Furthermore, the Pista\u2019s inner liner is also anti-bacterial and moisture-wicking, which keeps the inner liner fresh over time. There is room for glasses thanks to small grooves in the cheek pads making the helmet fully glasses-friendly, and it also comes with a chin curtain to reduce wind noise.<\/p>\n

For protection, AGV added an emergency quick release which helps first responders to take off the helmet safely in case of an accident. The Double-D closure keeps the helmet firmly in place, which is the preferred choice for professional racing. This helmet is also prepared for a hydration system, so riders can stay hydrated during long races. AGV even includes vent covers in the box, allowing you to adjust the airflow for different weather conditions.<\/p>\n

Visor<\/h3>\n

The clear visor on the AGV Pista GP RR gives a wide field of view, helping riders see more of the track and their surroundings. The visor is scratch resistant and UV-protected, keeping the view clear and protecting your eyes from sunlight.<\/p>\n

This helmet comes with a visor mechanism that pulls the visor tightly to the shell to improve noise reduction and water sealing. Furthermore, the visor is gloves-friendly and allows for easy, tool-free removal. Another nice feature of this helmet is that the visor is pinlock prepared and there is even a pinlock included in the box which helps prevent visor condensation. For track riders, the Pista GP RR comes with tear-offs in the box for optimal visibility on the track. Some color versions of the AGV Pista GP RR come with an additional dark smoke visor included in the box which is nice for riding in sunny weather.<\/p>\n

Ventilation<\/h3>\n

The Pista GP RR offers great top ventilation with 3 top inlets, chin inlets, and exhausts to release hot air. You can close the top inlets with the parts that come included in the box and the chin inlets can be closed with a slider mechanism on the inside of the helmet. The EPS liner has air channels that guide cool air through the helmet. This system keeps the rider\u2019s head cool and fresh, even under extreme racing conditions.<\/p>\n
